How Kai Is Making A Difference At Tidwell MS

You don’t have to wait to be great.

It’s written in big letters on the wall of our Next Gen area and it’s been interwoven into the DNA of who we are since our very first service fourteen years ago.

Milestone has always been a place where young people don’t have to wait on the sidelines. We put them in the game.

If you pass through our environments, you’ll see students and children regularly leading and impacting others. They are preaching, teaching, leading worship, serving, and leading small groups. They are sharing Jesus with their classmates, teammates, and family members. They are traveling across the globe and across town to impact others with the Gospel.

This isn’t just theory….it’s really happening.

Kai is an 8th grade student, who found himself hanging with the wrong crowd and making poor decisions. Watch how a simple invitation to one of our Elevate services radically impacted, not only his life, but his entire family.

There is immense value in intentionally investing in and empowering those coming behind us. Our presence here is only temporary and one day the young people in our midst will carry on the vision and ministry of our church. We believe in a multi-generational church that will outlive the people who started it.

This weekend Pastor Tyron, our Next Gen pastor, reminded us that life isn’t a marathon or a sprint…it’s a relay race. We want to pass the baton and see our young people go farther than we ever thought possible.
